Time Together -

w.H.E.n. acknowledge that home educated children are at all times the full responsibility of their parents, who are legally responsible for their children's education, at home and within the community. Home Educators who might be considered as 'organisers' are people who co-ordinate dates, times and venues etc and perhaps suggested focus of 'play' and this is quite often a shared exercise with an acting contact. w.H.E.n. acknowledge adults (and children) who put energy into 'co-ordinating' (bringing Home Educators together) have no further responsibilities, only as individual parents towards their own children (unless arrangements have been made between individuals on a personal basis). Essentially, Home Educators gather together on a social basis.

Everyone feels positive by contributing towards any group of people they meet with and we all have much to give and receive, in many diverse ways - please find out how any group runs by asking questions or finding out if there are any informational handouts, guidelines etc.that could be of assistance to new home educators with regards to settling into an existing 'group' of home educators. What contributions (if any) are necessary/expected from the individuals coming together to make 'our time' as positive as possible for all?

Happy Home Education!!!!!
